With an NPK ratio of 8-11-21, plus magnesium, sulphur and essential micronutrients, Horti Grow delivers the broad nutrient profile required to encourage lush green foliage, vigorous growth and healthy plant structure. The official HORTI program targets an EC of approximately 1.8 during vegetative growth. This target is based on water with an initial EC of 0.0, so the quantity may need to be reduced when using mineral-rich tap water.

Common Mixing Quantities

Mixing Instructions

1. Fill the reservoir with clean water.
2. Measure the required quantity of Horti Grow.
3. Add the powder to the water and mix thoroughly until completely dissolved.
4. Add Horti Cal according to the HORTI feeding chart.
5. Check and adjust the nutrient strength using an EC meter.
6. Adjust the final nutrient solution to approximately pH 5.8–6.3.
7. Maintain the nutrient solution at approximately 18–23°C.

For run-to-waste systems, GreenPlanet recommends achieving at least 10% runoff to help prevent mineral salt accumulation in the growing medium.

Always begin with a lighter nutrient strength when feeding young plants, sensitive varieties or plants growing under lower light intensity.
