The Cultiv8 Computer Fan 120mm is a compact 240V ventilation fan delivering approximately 120m³/h of airflow. Featuring a steel body, steel blades, ball-bearing motor and power lead, it is ideal for grow tents, cabinets, propagation areas and targeted plant circulation.
Full product description
The Cultiv8 Computer Fan 120mm is a compact, mains-powered ventilation fan designed to improve airflow in grow tents, propagation areas, hydroponic cabinets and other confined growing spaces.
Its slim 120mm profile makes it ideal for areas where a standard circulation or inline fan would be too large. The fan delivers an airflow rate of approximately 120m³ per hour, helping reduce stagnant air, disperse heat and maintain more consistent growing conditions.
Unlike a standard 12V computer fan, the Cultiv8 fan includes a power lead and is designed to operate from a 220–240V Australian power supply. Its durable steel body, steel blades and ball-bearing motor provide reliable performance for regular or continuous ventilation applications.

Why Use the Cultiv8 Computer Fan?
Consistent air movement is important in indoor growing environments. Areas with poor circulation can develop uneven temperatures, excess moisture and pockets of stagnant air around plant foliage.
The Cultiv8 120mm Computer Fan provides targeted airflow without taking up the space required by a larger oscillating fan. It can be positioned near plant canopies, shelves, propagation equipment or ventilation openings to improve air movement where it is needed most.
Gentle airflow can also encourage stronger plant stems and help move humid air away from dense foliage.
Recommended Applications
- Small grow tents
- Hydroponic grow cabinets
- Propagation tents and chambers
- Seedling and cutting areas
- Indoor garden shelving
- Targeted canopy circulation
- Cooling lighting or electrical equipment
- Simple air intake or exhaust applications
- Ventilating small enclosed spaces
How to Use
Mount the fan securely using the corner mounting holes, ensuring that the blades and airflow openings remain unobstructed.
Position the fan to create gentle air movement around or above the plant canopy. Avoid directing concentrated airflow continuously at delicate seedlings or young cuttings.
The fan can also be installed near an air opening to assist with basic intake or exhaust ventilation. Connect it to a suitable Australian power outlet, timer or compatible environmental controller.
This style of fan is best suited to open circulation and low-resistance ventilation. It is not designed to pull air efficiently through a carbon filter or long, restrictive ducting runs.
