This is the simplest method of hydroponics and is used mainly by growers who only wish to cultivate a minimal number of plants or for the propagation of small plants. It is a true domestic incarnation of hydroculture.
The system consists of a bucket with a lid, large net pot, clay pebbles, large air pump, airline, and a large round air stone. The air stone is placed at the bottom of the bucket with the airline running to the air pump on the outside of the bucket. The bucket is filled to approximately two thirds to three quarters full with water. The lid is placed on top of the bucket which holds a net pot, which in turn holds the clay pebble growing medium.

The PLANT!T¨ Aeros Deep Water Culture system, also commonly known as a bubbler system. These are very popular hydroponic systems that require very little growing media, but do require a lot of nutrient/water solution. The PLANT!T¨ aeros I is best suited for short term and seasonal cropping plants.
The aeros is a Deep Water Culture (DWC) system that is also known as a bubbler system. These are very popular hydroponic systems that require very little growing media. However it does require a lot of nutrient/water solution. The aeros is available in 1 plant kit or 4 plant recirculating option. The plant is supported in a net pot filled with a growing media such as Clay Pebbles and the roots are submerged in a highly oxygenated nutrient/water solution. The aeros includes an air pump and submersible airstone(s) to provide a large amount of oxygen to the roots of the plant and this results in rapid growth. The bubbles produced by the airstone keep the nutrient/water solution constantly moving and oxgyen rich and so the roots stay healthy.
It is important to monitor the EC and pH levels closely with this system in order to gain optimum results. This is easy-to-do by simply removing the inspection port cover and taking a pH/EC reading. Full instructions are supplied.
