Integrate compatible plug-in grow equipment into the AC Infinity UIS ecosystem with the AC Infinity UIS Control Plug for Outlet-Powered Equipment.
This smart socket adapter connects standard outlet-powered devices to a compatible AC Infinity UIS controller, allowing the controller to switch the connected equipment on or off automatically.
Once connected, compatible devices can be programmed using temperature, humidity and VPD triggers, as well as timers, schedules and repeating cycles. When paired with an app-enabled UIS controller, growers can also monitor and manage their environment remotely through the AC Infinity app.
The control plug is ideal for integrating compatible humidifiers, dehumidifiers, air conditioners, circulation fans, ventilation equipment, grow lights and seedling heat mats into one coordinated grow-room control system.
Important Compatibility Information
The UIS Control Plug works by allowing or cutting power to the connected appliance. It provides on/off control only and cannot adjust fan speed, light intensity or the output level of third-party equipment.
The connected device must automatically restart when power is supplied. Equipment that requires a button to be pressed after being plugged in is not compatible.
Before purchasing, test the appliance by switching it on, unplugging it and then plugging it back in. The appliance is suitable when it automatically resumes operation without requiring another button press.

- Requires variable speed or output control
- Operates as a continuous high-wattage load outside the manufacturer’s recommendations
AC Infinity advises against rapid on-and-off cycling and warns that continuous high-wattage equipment may create an overheating or fire risk. Always confirm the appliance’s wattage, current requirements and restart behaviour before use.
How It Works
The UIS Control Plug sits between the wall outlet and the appliance.
A compatible UIS controller sends commands to the plug, which either supplies power to the connected device or cuts the power. This allows environmental equipment to switch on or off in response to programmed conditions.
For example, a compatible humidifier can be programmed to switch on when humidity falls below a selected level and turn off once the desired range has been restored.
How to Install
- Confirm that the appliance automatically starts when power is supplied.
- Plug the UIS Control Plug into a suitable power outlet.
- Connect the appliance to the socket on the control plug.
- Connect the included UIS extension cord to the control plug.
- Connect the other end of the cord to a compatible UIS controller.
- Select the appropriate controller port and equipment settings.
- Program the required triggers, schedule, timer or cycle.
